Aled Jones
Head of Sustainable Investing, Europe, FTSE Russell
Aled Jones joined FTSE Russell as Head of Sustainable Investing, Europe, in November 2017. He joined from Mercer’s Investment Consulting Business where he was a Principal in the Global Responsible Investment Team for a number of years. Prior to this, Jones managed the ESG integration activities of one of the UK’s largest public sector pension schemes, the London Pensions Fund Authority. His RI industry experience spans more than 15 years during which time he has also worked in ESG analysis and research, as well as corporate voting and engagement for active portfolios on behalf of institutional and retail clients. Jones holds an MSc in Environmental Science from Lund University in Sweden and is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. -
Caroline van Tilborg
Carbon Asset Manager, Climate Asset Management
Caroline van Tilborg is Carbon Asset Manager at Climate Asset Management. She has over 20 years’ experience in designing, investing, implementing and managing of a portfolio of renewable energy and landscape restoration projects worldwide. She started to work in the international carbon market from 2002 onwards, has a deep understanding of the associated complexities and transacted a billion in carbon credits with multiple benefits including community, biodiversity and water. Some of her recent work includes the assessment of the carbon credit potential of large landscape restoration and conservation projects in Sub-Sahara Africa and Australia, particularly around protection of native forests, reforestation, sustainable grazing and agroforestry and the implementation thereof. -
Dimple Sahni
Managing Director Impact Funds Portfolios, Anthos Fund and Asset Management
Dimple Sahni is Managing Director Impact Funds Portfolios at Anthos Fund and Asset Management. She began her career in finance working for Goldman Sachs. She then launched a social enterprise focused on education, Epylon, which was later sold to Accenture. After working at L Capital Partners where she was a Kauffman Fellow, she shifted to impact investing at the Omidyar Network, Pierre Omiydar’s philanthropic investment arm. She continued her impact investing career with Unilever Corporate Ventures on its exploration of emerging Asia. Most recently she was Fund Principal at the Hattery, an early stage impact investing and design firm which was sold to Google. Sahni holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School and a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago. -
Don Gerritsen

Don Gerritsen is Director en Sustainable Investment Leader bij Deloitte. Hij begeleidt vermogensbeheerders, verzekeraars, pensioenfondsen en banken met strategische duurzaamheidstransities. Daarvoor bekleedde hij diverse leidinggevende functies bij de PRI, de Verenigde Naties en KPMG in de VS, het VK, Kenia en Nederland. Hij is auteur van ‘Guidance to Inspirational Leadership’ en Oprichter van het pro-bono mentoring initiatief ‘Pay It Forward’. Gerritsen heeft een Executive MBA in Strategie en een Master in Bestuurskunde. -
Hilde Veelaert
Chief Investment Officer, Head of Equities, ACTIAM
Hilde Veelaert has been Chief Investment Officer at ACTIAM since April 2021. She fulfilled this role since February 2020 on an ad interim basis. Veelaert joined ACTIAM in June 2003 as Portfolio Manager for European equities and became Head of the equities team in 2011. She started her career in 1994 and worked at AXA Bank in Belgium and AXA IM in The Hague and Paris. Veelaert holds a Master of Science in Technical Business Administration from the KU Leuven and is a Financial Analyst (ABAF/ EFFAS). She is also registered with the Dutch Securities Institute as Senior Investment Manager. -
Jaap van Dam

Jaap van Dam is the Principal Director of Investment Strategy at PGGM. He is chairman of the Dutch Association of Investors for Sustainable Development (VBDO), of the European chapter of the 300 Club and of the International Advisory Board of EDHEC. He holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Van Dam has performed many roles within the field of investment management, ranging from fundamental and quantitative analysis to external manager selection and portfolio construction. He joined PGGM in 2005 as Head of Internal Equity Management. In 2006 he was appointed Chief Strategist. Van Dam is a member of the NEST (UK) Investment Committee and ICPM’s research committee. Together with prof. Kees Koedijk and prof Alfred Slager, he authored the book Achieving Investment Excellence, a practical guide for Trustees of Pension Funds, Endowments and foundations (2019). -

Kimberley Lewis is Head of Active Ownership at Schroders. Prior to joining Schroders, she was Director of North America Engagement for Federated Hermes EOS, International. Prior to joining EOS, Lewis was Senior Director of Global Corporate Responsibility at Pfizer Inc. Prior to this, she was the Director of Public Policy and Issues Management at AstraZeneca. Before this, she was a Senior Advisor to Cherie Blair. Lewis has held roles in philanthropy, law and politics in the United States, including serving as counsel to a United States Senator. She is a US-qualified attorney, with a BA and JD from the University of Virginia; she also has an MA from London Business School, where she was a Sloan Fellow and Recipient of the Sloan Woman’s Scholarship. -
Krispijn Bertoen

Krispijn Bertoen is Head of Responsible Investment (RI) at MN and leads the RI team. He is member of the Management Team of MN Fiduciairy Management. Bertoen is responsible for the integration of ESG issues in all MN's investment decisions and for all MN's RI policies, including exclusion, voting, engagement, impact investment and a pioneering Climate Risk program. He started his career in banking (ABN AMRO and Deutsche Bank). In 2010, he shifted his focus to responsible investing and impact investing, working in consultancy (Steward Redqueen), ecosystem development (Social Impact Factory) and now institutional investing (MN). -

Leonie Jesse is Associate Director Sustainability, Sustainable Finance and Head of ESG Insurance at KPMG. She has a background in banking and asset management and extensive experience in responsible investing and sustainable finance. Within KPMG, Jesse focuses on supporting financial institutions in achieving their sustainability ambitions and objectives. She works on the intersections of sustainability strategy, target setting and reporting (including DMA) on key sustainability information. -

Melissa Brown is Head of Applied Research at Qontigo. Prior to joining Axioma (now part of Qontigo) in 2011, she was Managing Director and Head of the institutional business at Wintrust Capital Management. Before that she spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, most recently as a Partner in the Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) Group. She was previously Director of Quantitative Research at Prudential Securities. Brown is a Chartered Financial Analyst, holds a BS in economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in finance from New York University. -

As a PhD holder in financial law and with extensive experience in product development he can oversee and translate the business and strategic impact of new and existing regulations on financial institutions. He advised numerous companies on the implications and implementation of SFDR and other Sustainable Finance Regulatory initiatives. -
Piet Klop

Piet Klop is Head of Responsible Investment at PGGM Investments. He develops PGGM’s ‘investing in solutions’ portfolio, including SDG impact measurement. He also manages a number of special projects including ESG integration. Before joining PGGM Investments in July 2011, Klop was at the World Resources Institute in Washington DC and held senior positions at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the private sector. As water expert he worked at the World Bank and United Nations. Klop holds master’s degrees in Water Resources Management from Wageningen University and Applied Environmental Economics from University of London. -

Raquel Criado Larrea has been employed with a.s.r. since 2009. As Head of Sustainability, Manager Selection and Balanced Portfolios is responsible for the development and implementation of the SRI policy, the selection of external funds or mandates and the managemet of various mixfunds for internal and external clients. Before joining a.s.r. she worked at ING Group in several international positions for 9 years. Rishma Moennasing is Lead Funds and Sustainability at Rabobank. She is responsible for the sustainable investment strategy and mandates. Also project lead SFDR, Mifid ESG and EU green taxonomy, responsible for the implementation of all green EU rules for investments. She has been with Rabobank since 2008. Before Rabobank she had a similar position at ABN AMRO Private Banking & Asset Management. She is also active for the VBDO where she is involved in the active ownership activities related to sustainable topics with listed Dutch Companies. -

Sarah Norris is an Investment Director within the Global Equities Team at Aberdeen Standard Investments. She is responsible for providing research coverage of the Healthcare Equipment & Services and Software & Computer Services sectors, and she is also the Lead Portfolio Manager on the European Ethical Equity Fund and Co-Portfolio Manager of the management of the Global Equity Impact Strategy for Aberdeen Standard Investments. Norris joined Standard Life in 2011 from Referendum Ready, a non-profit campaign that partnered with the Government of Southern Sudan Mission prior to independence. She continues to work with Impact Sudan. -

Ulrike Beyrich (CAIA) is a Director in the Manager Research Solutions team of Kempen where she has worked since 2010. She started her career as a fund analyst in 2005 in Berlin. Before Kempen, she worked at Skandia Investment Management Limited in London (now Old Mutual). At Kempen, Beyrich is responsible for the Private Debt investments. She also has been very much involved for years in embedding sustainability in the manager selection process including the development of a proprietary ESG manager scoring framework. -

Wouter Koelewijn is the European Liaison for the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN). The GIIN is the global champion of Impact Investing, dedicated to increasing its scale and effectiveness around the world. Koelewijn holds extensive experience in various senior strategic roles within Management Consulting and the financial services industry, developing strategies and innovations in impact investing and sustainable business. Before joining the GIIN he worked as a Senior Strategy and Innovation Manager at PGGM and as a Management Consultant in Corporate Strategy and Business Development at Deloitte. He holds a Masters degree in Economics from VU University Amsterdam. -
Zoë du Chattel

Zoë du Chattel has been a supervisor at the AFM since 2014 and has worked in the supervision of asset managers for 5 years. She focuses on the ongoing supervision of these parties. On behalf of the AFM, Du Chattel is a member of the European committee concerned with the development of the proposal for the Technical Standards (RTS) for the SFDR. In addition, she monitors the implementation of this legislation in the Dutch market.
